Having grown 750% in the last 5 years, we are now looking for a talented Partnerships Director to join our team and help us build the corporate and philanthropic relationships within our network that will be allow us to continue the growth trajectory that we’re on.
The members of our movement are highly engaged, knowledgeable about the cause and eager to contribute. We are looking for someone that can engage with donors and corporates at the highest level, employing the tact, professionalism and guile necessary to succeed within personality led fundraising.
What you will be doing
This role will be building on the incredible fundraising success we have had to date, both building and developing relationships within our existing network and putting in place the systems and processes necessary to capitalise on our incredible network as it continues to grow.
You will be responsible for forging relationships with visionaries at the highest level, individuals who have a clear idea of the impact they want to have on the UK’s youth and have the capacity to give 6-figure sums to make it happen. Equally, you will be engaging with corporates who want to make strategic investments and contributions to Big Change’s work outside the traditional sphere of corporate giving.
Alongside this, you will be an integral part of Big Change’s SMT and will provide strategic input into the future direction and growth plans of the organisation.
What we’re looking for
There are plenty of things you’ll need to succeed in this role, but the below are the ones that are most important to us:
- You will have experience of securing significant gifts from HNWIs.
- You will have experience of building strategic partnerships.
- You will have experience of building robust systems to support fundraising.
- You will have previous success in building long-term, adaptable fundraising strategies.
- You will be able to demonstrate previous leadership success within fundraising teams that exceeded budget and expectation.
