We are looking for an International Direct Response Television (DRTV) Manager to join an organisation with ambitious goals and a clear strategic plan. While advertised as a London location we are very flexible on the base location – you could be based anywhere.
This is a unique opportunity (a cliché I hate using but in this instance true) for an ambitious high performing fundraiser with significant expertise of delivering successful DRTV campaigns to join a international team.
In this role you will:
Drive the strategic development of DRTV in partnership with members: set income targets and develop strategic initiatives with global reach and impact
Provide direct technical support: maximizing results and ensuring income targets are met
Ensure skill sharing and knowledge management: establish clear benchmarks and KPIs; monitoring performance and ensuring closer linkages and increased dialogue between members.
For this role you’ll need:
Significant DRTV fundraising experience in the not for profit sector (agency and client experience is desirable)
Experience of contract negotiations and the management of external suppliers
Solid direct marketing experience
Strong project management skills with regards to planning and executing campaigns across a range of channels e.g. telephone, online and SMS.
On a personal level you’ll be a self-starter, an assertive and persuasive negotiator who is able to articulate the work of Save the Children with passion. You’ll also have the ability to both lead and work in teams, to work in a fast-moving environment and be respectful of diversity. You will also be willing to undertake international travel for up to 25%.
